Saturday, July 11th, 2026
11AM to 7:00 PM

Roland Park Community Center
5802 Roland Avenue
Baltimore, MD 21210

The GCOM annual picnic is a full day of fun - with a pot luck meal and all the gaming you can squeeze in. The picnic is usually held in late June/early July and is open to both members and guests. Details - including location and pricing - are typically announced in early spring.

A portion of the GCOM Library is always available at the picnic. GCOM normally contributes the main dish and drinks and guests are asked to volunteer to bring food or picnic supplies.

2026 details

The 2026 annual picnic is coming up soon! We are a little later than we have been in prior years - the event will take place July 11. The picnic is open to all GCOM members and guests, but all attendees must pre-register by July 6. If you decide last minute, please reach out and we will let you know if there is space available. The picnic has both indoor and outdoor space and will take place rain or shine.

How to attend: GCOM Patron and Supporting members attend for free, while Associate members and guests must pay $10 to attend.
<Registration button will be here>

* Due the nature of this event and planning requirements, pre-registration fees for this event are non-refundable.

Menu: GCOM provides hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, and veggie burgers (ask the grill master) on the grill, baked beans and assorted beverages. We ask attendees to bring side dishes, snacks, and desserts. We will request some idea of your potluck contribution before the picnic, so we can make sure we have everything covered. You may indicate what you would like to bring on the registration form r email Ann. Please reach out ahead of time if you have specific dietary needs to ann@gamesclubofmd.org.

Games Library: We bring a selection of games from the GCOM Library. Remember - no games should begin after 6pm. E-mail GCOM Librarian Richard Pearl at gcom.librarian@gmail.com to request specific titles. You can access a list of games we own from this page: GCOM Game Library. Or bring your own favorite game!!

Outdoor Games: If you are interested in any outdoor activities you must bring the appropriate equipment to play. Anyone interested in coordinating special games or sporting events should post on our GCOM Facebook page.

Volunteers needed:
As usual, we run on volunteers, and will need help with transportation, set-up, clean-up, cooking, and your pot-luck contributions. You may sign up to help with any of these activities on the registration form.
