Saturday, July 1st, 2023. Picnic Hours: 11AM to 7:00 PM.
No games to start after 6pm
The picnic has both indoor and outdoor space,
and will take place rain or shine.

What:

Join GCOM for fun, games, food and great times.
A PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY EVENT.

Who:

Open to All GCOM Members and guests.
|

Food:
|
GCOM will provide hamburgers, hotdogs,
and chicken on the grill, baked beans
and assorted beverages. We ask
attendees to bring side dishes,
snacks, and desserts.

Activities on Site:
|
A portion of the GCOM Game Library will be present at the GCOM Picnic.

What to Bring:
|
Your Favorite Games. If you are interested in any sports activities you must bring along the
appropriate equipment to play. Anyone interested in coordinating special games or sporting
events should post on our GCOM discussion forum at gamesclubofmd@yahoogroups.com.
We are looking for volunteers to assist with bringing sides, snacks and
desserts -- as well as the loan of a gas grill. Contact Ann for details at
riverpa AT gmail.com.
Volunteers are needed for...
- Loan of a gas grill
- Transportation of Supplies
- Set up: tables, grills, food, beverages, games, etc.
- Food donations (salads, desserts, chips...)
- Beverages, Ice, Coolers
- Grill Service
- Clean Up
- Break down: tables, grills, beverages, games, etc.
- Special Events (sports activities and equipment)

Registration:

Admission is by Pre-Registration Only. Limited to 120 attendees. No walk ins will be admitted.
Registration Deadline: Friday, June 25th, 2023
GCOM Patron and Supporting Members: Free.
Non-members and Guests: $10.00
Non-members and Guests age 12 and under: $5.00
A Registration form is required for all attendees, including
Patron and Supporting Members.

Step 1. Payment (if required)
There are two methods available for payment:

- Payment by Check Via postal mail: Postmark by Friday June 16, 2023 and/or received by Friday June 23, 2023

Due the nature of this event and planning requirements, pre-registration fees for this event are non-refundable.

Directions:
|
Roland Park CC can be reached most easily off of Rt I-83. Take Exit 10-A, West Northern
Parkway eastbound, go past the Exxon and Shell stations, and turn left at the next light (about
a mile), onto Roland Avenue. In about a half mile, turn left onto Bellemore Road, the CC is
immediately on your right. If you miss the curb cut to Bellemore, just continue to Lake and
make a U-turn. There is paved parking, and grass parking to the rear of the property (please do
not park on the grass near the entrance). If parking is full you can park on Roland Ave where
there are wide shoulders.

We really appreciate everyone's help!
It certainly takes a group effort to pull off this event.
It amazes me each year, how much food everyone brings.

We had a total of 133 in Attendance, which beats our previous record of
102 in 2007, and was 46% more than in 2008.
We maxed out on the " allowable pavilion capacity, but space was not an
issue, due to the volunteers that brought extra tables and chairs, and
everyone was not in the pavilion at the same time. We are planning to
return to Centennial Park in July next year.

We had a very successful picnic
Games were played all day long and as always there was plenty of food and drinks.
Even with a prolonged heavy rain, a good time was had by all and gaming continued throughout. Quick reactions kept games from getting damaged.
