What is GCOM Cyberspace?
Well it might not be what you think. We do not play many board games online, but play First Person Shooters (FPS) games online. There are places to play Axis & Allies online, and other games. I personally play AWAW using Warplanner.

Cyberspace is a place where millions of people play games online. GCOM Cyberspace tries to help direct gamers in the right direction for their online gaming needs. It is better to play with a group of trusted friends online than trying to make news friends every time.

Who is it?
Basically it is just me. I do the ground work helping people find a niche in the cyberworld for their gaming pleasure.

What do they do?
We play games online. Presently the games of choice are Battlefield 2, Counter-Strike Source, Diablo 2 LOD, World of Warcraft, and maybe a few others. See the links below for more info.

As a member of clan Ecce Stages, I play Battlefield 2 competitively in several online gaming leagues. We play in CAL, TWL and STA. CAL stands for Cyber Athletic League. TWL is Team Warfare League. STA is Stronger Than All League. I am also a member of two other clans, Order of Ronin and XTC.

See the links below for more info.

Where do they play?
We play at home, at a LAN center, or over a friend's house that has an extra computer.

Why Cyberspace?
This is a large growing community. Playing in Cyberspace allows a gamer to challenge oneself outside of the local gamers that a person may play at a local gaming club. There are many opponents to compete against with greater or lesser skills in Cyberspace.

How do I play?
To play games in Cyberspace, you will need a computer, a game to play online and an internet connection. Depending on what games one plays, a person may need a high end computer and high speed internet.

Game Inventory (by categories)

This location has no game inventory entered as yet!!!

TOP
Explanation: Each time a game is played at a GCOM event or meeting, an entry is made in the database. Only one entry is made per game per event/meeting day. Each entry is worth 1000 points. Each entry loses 1 point for each day since that entry was made.

When this page is displayed, a calculation is made for each game based upon the number and age of its entries. The longer it has been since a game has been played, the fewer points it gets. Events or meetings older than two years will be ignored.

WEBMASTER'S NOTE: This list is only as accurate as those entering the "Games Played" make it. If you are a location or event host, please take a few minutes soon after each meeting and update your Games Played!!! If you just can't get to it, please email the webmaster with the date of the event/meeting and the games played.
