Due to high cost and low attendance at our three Retreat Events, the GCOM Board has put future plans for a Retreat Event on hold.

Other events are being considered to take it's place and will be announced once confirmed.

Wrap up:

I wanted to thank everyone for all the wonderful food contributions this past weekend.
We had more food than we could eat.
Despite for a few hitches with the overnight rooms, everyone seem to have a great time.
There were 33 people in attendance.
I had a great time and the Retreat is my favorite gaming event.

I wanted to thank
Michelle Hymowitz for the chili, fruit tray and clean up;
Bill Duke and Doug Hoylman for assisting with clean up,
and a special thanks to Rodney Bacigalupo for his help with set up;
and to Leigh Eirich for her help with food set ups, maintenance and cleaning throughout the event.

Unfortunately the staff at Camp Frettred informed me that effective immediately they will no longer be renting out the facility. Apparently they are converting the Weinberg Center into an office building in early 2011.
I will be speaking to the GCOM Board of Directors about possible alternative events.
