I think we should start a string of posts about success stories by GCOM members at this year's WBC. I will lead off. After coming home plaque-less last year, I took home the third place plaque in Adel Verplifchtet, finishing only two squares behind the winner (Marc Houde, a DC-area gamer). It's probably the closest I've ever coming to actually winning a WBC century event.
