National Gaming Day
Saturday, November 15th, 2008.
At your Local Library.

Open gaming, open to the general public. Run by volunteers like you in coordination with your local library.

Steps to get involved:

  • Contact your local Library Manager and tell them all about National Gaming Day.
  • Tell you library that you willl volunteer to run the event at their library.
  • Once your Library agrees you can get the word out to gamers in your area.
  • Games Club of Maryland will help with coordinating volunteers and spreading the word.

National Gaming Day Official Event text from ALA:
On November 15th, libraries across the country are hosting gaming days, coordinated by the American Library Association. In fact, Hasbro is sending a copy of Pictureka on that day, and our hope is that libraries will document how many players engaged with not only Pictureka, but also with any game that day.
